Skin Infection, fungal
Fungal skin infections occur when mold-like fungi attack various parts of the body, including the feet (athlete’s foot), scalp (ringworm of the scalp), overall body (ringworm of the body), or genitals, inner thighs and buttocks (jock itch). Symptoms vary depending on the area of the body infected, but generally include redness, stinging, burning and itching.
