Ultrasound - Pelvis Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to create pictures of the inside of the body without using radiation. An ultrasound of the pelvis can be used to view the bladder, female reproductive organs and other structures within the pelvis. Pelvic ultrasound is also used during pregnancy to monitor the baby’s health and development. Note: Estimates below are based on Medica Choice network contract rates and include facility fees, as well as fees for the radiologist who reads (interprets) the image.
