Upper GI Endoscopy
Upper GI (gastrointestinal) endoscopy is a procedure that allows a doctor to examine the upper intestinal tract using a lighted, flexible tube called an endoscope. Endoscopy is used to check for ulcers, inflammation, tumors, infection or bleeding in the upper part of the digestive system.
